Local Missions
First Presbyterian Church Eufaula is involved in many missions in the Barbour County area including the Giving Fence, Communities of Transformation, the Boy Scouts, providing food for the Episcopal Food Bank, and the cleaning of the Jewish section of the City Cemetery. Many individual members also serve as members of local service organizations and contribute generously to community outreach programs.
Living Waters for the World
For the last 12 years, FPC Eufaula has put in 13 clean water systems in and about Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Once or twice a year, a Living Waters for the World mission team will travel to the DR and install the water system. In the past these systems were put in villages, but now the church is beginning to place the systems in schools.
The Giving Fence
Each Tuesday, First Presbyterian Church places items on the fence outside the church so that anyone in need may come and take anything on the fence. At the same time, the fence is open for anyone to place items that they have that they no longer need. Come and see!
